If you are an experienced translator or interpreter with more than 5 years’ experience and an excellent knowledge in one of our areas of specialisation and you would like to join our freelance team, we would be happy to hear from you.
Please note that you have to fulfil at least one of the criteria below:
You have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies from a university or another recognised higher education institution.
You have obtained a degree in one of our areas of specialisation from a recognised higher education institution and have the equivalent of at least 3 years’ experience as a full-time translator (either freelance or in-house).
You have the equivalent of at least 5 years’ experience as a full-time translator in one of our areas of specialisation.

Remote internship
EuroMinds Linguistics Ltd. is a small Language Service Provider based in Hamburg, Germany. Our main focus is in providing translations and interpretations services as well as transcription, editing and MTPE services.
If you have to complete a mandatory internship as part of your degree programme, we would like to hear from you. We offer you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the day-to-day work of a translation agency and gain some first experience.
We are looking for an intern based in Brussels or around to help with customer acquisition, social media marketing and project management.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Creating promotional materials, writing of newsletters and /or business blog
Participating in events and networking
Social media marketing – LinkedIn posts
Acquiring new customers
Helping project managers to set up and place jobs
Drawing up purchase orders
Preparing files for translation/ formatting
Proofreading/ editing of translations
Create and maintain TM/ glossaries
Preparing tenders (if applicable)
Requirements:
Students who are enrolled in a BA or MA degree in translation or language studies, business or marketing studies and who need to complete an internship as part of their degree programme. As our internships are unpaid, we are not able to offer internships to graduates who are looking for a voluntary internship which is not part of their degree programme.
EU national or work permit holder
Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT…)
Good, demonstrated command of social media
Interns must be able to demonstrate a good level of written and spoken English as well as French.
Customer oriented
Duration of the internship: 2-3 months
Start of internship: anytime
Location: remote/ online
